PATTERN VINYL AND TRANSFER HELP

Pattern HTV:

~Cut pattern side up first. (Don't mirror image.)
~Weed design and transfer tape immediately so it doesn't peel up.
~Place transfer sheet over top of weeded pattern vinyl. (Transfer Sheet sold separately.)
~Peel off thin cutting film on back of white side.
~Now you can press like normal. (305-315 F, Medium pressure, 10-15 seconds.)
~When washing:  Garment inside out on gentle cycle and lay flat to dry.

**Any pattern vinyl left over for later use that has been cut needs to be transfer taped or it will peel off backing film.  Once the sheet is transferred you can peel backing off and cut like normal HTV. (Cut white back up with mirrored image.)

**Pattern vinyl can't be layered over.  You will need to use the knock out method if wanting to layer over it.

**Be sure you don't apply to washed items or items with a residue on them.  If so you will need to wash in a vinegar cycle before pressing or it will come off.

    Pattern Adhesive Vinyl:

3 year life without abrasive use.  Laminating sheets are available for extra protection but not necessary and will add thickness to vinyl decal.

Sublimation Transfer Instructions: (Not vinyl, transfers ink to item.)

    ~Temperature: 400 degrees Fahrenheit
~Press shirt 3-5 seconds to remove moister
~Put parchment or butcher paper inside the garment to ensure the ink does not bleed through the item.
~Place transfer face down on garment. (Heat glue or heat tape is recommended to secure transfer.) Put another sheet of paper or teflon sheet over top of transfer to protect item.
~Press Medium pressure for 45-55 seconds
Carefully remove paper immediately and peel hot.

*Must be at least a 70% Polyester fabric count for sublimation to work.

*Must use a heat press and can't use a home iron.

*Pressing pillows work great with sublimation.

*Colors change and brighten when pressed.  Most vivid color comes with white shirt and 100% polyester material.

      HTV Transfer Instructions:

~Pre-Heat fabric 3-5 seconds (To remove any moister in fabric.)
~Remove transfer with transfer paper slowly to be sure design is adhered to transfer paper. If not just rub until adhered to transfer paper. (Sometimes small pieces shift during shipment. These can be replaced with tweezers in correct position.)
~Position transfer on your item and cover with teflon sheet or pillow case. (No dark or patterns cover because it may transfer ink to your transfer.
      ~Temp.: 305-315 F, Medium Pressure, 15 Seconds
~When washing:  Garment inside out on gentle cycle and lay flat to dry.

*If using a home iron don't use a ironing board.  Needs to be a steady surface that you can get a good press on.  You should see the material texture in the transfer once pressed properly.

**HTV Transfers can't be layered over.

**Be sure you don't apply to washed items or items with a residue on them.  If so you will need to wash in a vinegar cycle before pressing or it will come off.

        TRANSFER SIZING HELP

        Most use:

        4-6" on infant and toddler

        6"-8" on kids,

        8"-12" on adults.

12" mostly for XL and larger.

Keeping in mind that if one you choose is not uniform in size I like to have it a bit larger. Like the trucks or gnomes. They are smaller height wise so I go up normally on the size.
